Minh Hoang Nguyen

From 2015 to 2017, he was principal clarinet of the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra and, since 2018, has been associate principal clarinet of the Orchestre symphonique du Soleil.

Nguyen Minh Hoang began playing clarinet at the age of 11 and attended the Vietnam National Academy of Music, where he studied with Nguyen Lam and Nguyen Quoc Bao.

Hoang obtained her Bachelor's and Master's degrees under the direction of Prof. Joachim Klemm and with accompanying Prof. Sonja Gimaletdinow at the Academy of Music C.M.von. Weber Academy of Music in Dresden, Germany. As a member of the Dresden Music Academy Orchestra, he toured Köhl and Leipzig.
