The RC Prestige clarinet is one of the top-of-the-range models in the RC reed family. African blackwood (Dalbergia Melanoxylon) is carefully chosen for its acoustic and aesthetic qualities. The wood is carefully polished and remains in its natural color.

The mechanics are prepared and finished with great precision: internal milling of the holes according to the specifications specific to Buffet Crampon know-how. The tenons of the bodies are crimped, that is to say protected by metal rings, in order to limit the risk of splits. The nickel silver keys (an alloy of copper, zinc and nickel) are cold forged, copper-plated then silvered. The mechanics are carefully assembled and adjusted by expert technicians.
